Leek and Mushroom Garlic Bread

3 Tbs. melted butter

2 cups thinly sliced leek tops

2 cup mushrooms

salt, pepper,thyme  to taste

6 slices country garlic  bread

6 oz. grated Provolone  or Parmesan cheese



Heat 1 tsp. melted butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add leeks, and season with  thyme, salt, and pepper . Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 7 to 10 minutes, or until tender.Add mushrooms and  saute another 2-3 minutes. Set aside ,let it cool.

Toast  the garlic bread ,and put  a leeks mixture on the  top of them.Garnish with basil  leafs and  cheese.
